Loving Heart Hospice Foundation was founded in 1996 as a non-profit foundation to champion the benefits of hospice care and provide financial assistance to those low-income patients and families facing a shortfall in hospice care.

Loving Heart Hospice Foundation also has a strong relationship with the Moorpark Health Care Center, a ten bed skilled nursing care facility in a residential neighborhood not far from the Foundation’s office. Frequently the Foundation is able to place a low income patient at this facility when 24 hour nursing care becomes necessary and the family is unable to pay for some or all of the costs.

Through the generosity of donors, Loving Heart Hospice is able to provide hospice and grief support to all in the community, regardless of ability to pay.

The Moorpark Health Care Center provides care to the Foundation Patients at a discounted rate.
